About
Aurélie Cécile Rosette
Hi, I’m Aurélie. I come alive when simplifying complexity, thinking in systems, meta and at scale, across levels and disciplines.
Cécile and Rosette are the names of my grandmothers, and my maiden names. They remind me of how I want to live life and do business.
Cécile was like a sunflower. She would always keep her head held high, focused on the positive, like a flower turning to the sun. Even when Parkinson consumed her, there wasn’t a day where she didn’t smile.
Rosette is one of the kindest people I know. She brings people together over meals, making sure everyone’s accounted for, feeding us too much food, yet always of the best quality. She loves without condition, always grateful.
Aurélie is my first name and French for ‘gold’. I’m learning that my gold enters the world through warmth, ambition, curiosity and genuine connection.
Besides that, we can always talk about wine, salsa dancing or our favourite books.

Journey
My journey starts with two master’s at KU Leuven, one in economics and one in data, accompanied by a vice-presidentship in international social impact at Academics for Development.
I graduate with a thesis that combines the three worlds: a qualitative data research in Zambia, Benin and India on the adoption of IT systems in developing contexts (grade: 18/20).
My journey continues as a data analysis consultant for companies such as Biztory, ArcelorMittal, DPG Media, Flemish government during COVID-19 and TVH.
Tableau (software) and Exellys (consulting company) become my second home where I have great colleagues and receive substantial training on various topics (soft and hard skills).
But this doesn’t come without its challenges. I have a bore-out and Exellys (consulting company) is acquired by Projective Group (consulting company) during the same time period.
The acquisition broadens the service offering and therefore the opportunities for consultants such as myself.
I evolve into large-scale transformation as a change management consultant. With a mentor we re-design, implement and run the Quarterly Business Review process, a confidential prioritisation mechanism, for Euroclear IT, a European financial institution department of ~2000 people.
The consolidation of all IT project management and resource management into ServiceNow (software) follows.
When I receive raises I start to trade money for time, evolving to part time work, first 4 days, then 3 days a week.
I use the freed-up time to explore my interests in human motivation, job crafting, high-performing teams and working together at scale.
I write a book on job crafting (which starts as a website with a paywall and gets sold 25 times), transform it into a training (which gets found by 110 people, rating it 4.2/5) and am slowly pushed into 1:1 coaching, online community building and digital nomading. I quickly realise my future lies elsewhere.
At this point we see that the best performing training module is called “8 P’s of Work™”, a synthesis framework on work motivation.
It is presented to 440+ people at SuperNova (innovation festival), some universities (UA, VUB) and companies.
One of the training’s former students becomes a co-founder and we join Wintercircus (founder hub) to develop it into a SaaS start-up called OTCHO.
We then realise that our strengths and ambitions don’t align, and decide to end the collaboration honestly. I choose to let OTCHO rest until it finds the right co-founder, rather than force a set-up before it’s ready.
Today I continue to follow my deep curiosity for human motivation and business at scale.
I am sharing what I learn freely through Mail Trainings and The Weekly Quote.
I also offer my services to companies that pass the 50-person and 100-person milestones that are in need for less chaos and more systems.
